ICYMI: John Oliver Eviscerates Eric Hovde On Last Week Tonight

Last night on HBO’s Last Week Tonight, host John Oliver tore into Eric Hovde, his deeply off-putting campaign tactics and dangerous policies, labeling him “pathetic” and begging him to “stop talking.”

Oliver highlighted Hovde’s infamous and incredibly weird attempt to prove his Wisconsin credentials by challenging Senator Tammy Baldwin to meet him in a frozen lake, a deeply surreal and laughable attempt to pretend he isn’t a multi-millionaire California banker.

Oliver also revived Hovde’s offensive comments on Juneteenth, where he compared Black culture in Milwaukee to homeless shelters in Africa.

Oliver put it best when he begged Hovde to “stop being so f*****g weird.”
