SMP Statement on Ashley Hinson Entering the U.S. Senate Race in Iowa

Senate Majority PAC Spokesperson Lauren French released the following statement after Ashley Hinson announced she’s entering the U.S. Senate race in Iowa:

“After failing to help Iowans in the House, Ashley Hinson is eyeing a promotion. But her entrance into the U.S. Senate race is already going poorly, with her admitting she spurned Donald Trump before announcing and coming out swinging with a full-throated defense of concealing the Epstein files. The Republican primary promises to be a messy, expensive effort — and throughout it all, Democrats will remind Iowans of how Hinson and Washington Republicans gutted IA Health Link to give tax breaks to corporations and billionaires and raised prices for families by backing nonsensical tariffs.”
