Senate Majority PAC Commits $40 Million to Flip Ohio Senate Seat

Today, Senate Majority PAC announced an initial $40 million television reservation in Ohio to support Sherrod Brown against Republican incumbent Jon Husted.

This significant investment will ensure voters hear directly about how Husted has raised prices on families while backing tax breaks and bailouts for corporations, making life unaffordable for Ohioans. SMP will bolster the television reservation with a substantial digital media campaign. Both reservations will begin in the fall and run through Election Day.

“Every time Jon Husted had a choice between Ohio families and Donald Trump, he chose Trump. The result: Prices are up, health care is on the chopping block, and corporations are cashing in. That’s the Husted record,” said Senate Majority PAC Spokesperson Lauren French. “Sherrod Brown is offering Ohioans a senator who actually fights for them, with a promise to lower prices and break the cost-of-living crisis.”

The Senate race in Ohio is increasingly competitive, with pollsters finding Brown and Husted are neck and neck.
