Senate Majority PAC Statement on Josh Turek Winning the Iowa Senate Democratic Primary

Senate Majority PAC Spokesperson Lauren French issued the following statement after Josh Turek secured the Democratic nomination for Iowa’s U.S. Senate seat:

“Josh Turek has fought to lower costs for working families, protect rural health care, and make sure Iowa farmers have a fair shot, and he’s ready to take that fight to Washington.

“Ashley Hinson has done the opposite. She voted to slash funding for rural hospitals that Iowa communities depend on. She backed tariff policies that drove up the cost of fertilizer and feed, squeezing Iowa farmers already operating on thin margins. She lets grocery and gas prices rise and lies rather than face the consequences of her votes. Iowa families are paying more for less, and Hinson is why.
