NEW AD: Ken Paxton Offered a Child Predator Just One Day in Jail

Texas Forever, an affiliate of Senate Majority PAC, today launched a new digital ad homing in on the deal Ken Paxton cut for a confessed child sex predator who had ties to Paxton donors.

Hoffman was charged with continuous sexual abuse of a child, a first-degree felony. According to a prosecutor’s court filing, the victim, a friend of Hoffman’s son, told investigators the abuse began when he was about 6 years old.

Paxton’s office offered him a deal: plead guilty to two misdemeanors, serve a single day in jail, and stay off the sex offender registry. Hoffman’s lawyer also represented a Paxton donor who gave $25,000 in support of the attorney general.

“Adam Hoffman admitted to sexually abusing a child. He should’ve spent the rest of his life in prison. But Ken Paxton offered him a sweetheart deal. Just one day in jail,” said the narrator in the 30-second ad. “And he walked free. No sex offender registry. Hoffman’s lawyer represented one of Paxton’s biggest donors, [landing] an Epstein-style deal to let a pedophile walk free.”

This is Texas Forever’s first ad in the state during the 2026 cycle. The ad will run on digital platforms across Texas.
