Digital Communications Associate (Content Creation Focus)

About the Role
Senate Majority PAC is looking for a creative, detail-oriented Digital Communications Associate to help grow our online presence and engage audiences across platforms. The ideal candidate is a strong visual storyteller who thrives in a fast-paced environment, loves creating content, and has a keen eye for digital trends.
You’ll play a key role in developing and publishing high-quality social media content that reflects our message and drives engagement for our platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Content Creation
- Draft, edit, and publish digital content across social media platforms.
- Design simple graphics, short videos, and visual assets for campaigns and announcements.
- Maintain a consistent and compelling brand voice across all channels.
- Digital Strategy & Engagement
- Help implement the organization’s digital communications campaign plans.
- Monitor social media trends, audience engagement, and analytics to inform strategy.
- Coordination & Collaboration
- Work with the communications team to brainstorm content ideas and support our mission.
- Maintain content libraries, photo archives, and message trackers.
- Support day-to-day communications operations and administrative tasks as needed.
Qualifications
- 1–2 years of experience in digital communications, content creation, or social media (internships or campaign experience preferred).
- Excellent writing, editing, and storytelling skills.
- Proficiency with digital platforms such as X (Twitter), Instagram, Facebook, Threads, TikTok, and YouTube.
- Graphic design and/or video editing skills (Canva, Adobe Express, or similar tools).
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines.
- A collaborative team player who’s eager to learn and experiment creatively.
