Research Associate

Senate Majority PAC (SMP) is seeking Research Associates for the 2026 election cycle. SMP is solely dedicated to winning a Democratic majority in the U.S. Senate.

Position:

The Research Associates at SMP will play a leading role in executing SMP’s research efforts across the Senate map.

Responsibilities Include: 

• Assisting Research Director and Deputy Research Director in executing research plan to support SMP’s efforts across the map;
• Performing as research lead in assigned Senate race(s);
• Creating research documents as needed;
• Working with press and polling teams as needed;
• Fulfilling other tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

• Previous political campaign experience required, including:
• At least one cycle of experience working in political research preferred;
• Excellent organizational skills with a keen attention to detail;
• Ability and willingness to work non-traditional hours when needed;
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college, preferred but not required.

This job is in-person and located in Washington, D.C.  Salary is $65,000.
