Congress Passes Scott Brown-Backed Legislation that Screws New Hampshire

Senate Majority PAC released the following after Congress passed the Republican tax scam legislation that will significantly harm Granite State families by ripping away their health care and raising costs:

“Scott Brown’s fledgling campaign is already supporting terrible policies that will force Granite State families off their health care coverage and to pay more on everyday costs like utility bills and nutritious meals. This is not what standing with New Hampshire looks like, and Scott Brown will be forced to answer why he supports putting the wants of billionaires over the needs of working families – we will make sure of that,” said Senate Majority PAC spokesperson Lauren French. “Fighting for relevance as Republican leaders in the state continue to overlook his campaign, Scott Brown will clearly support the worst-of-the-worst to get attention from Donald Trump.”

The Republican-passed legislation is expected to have a significant impact on New Hampshire, where more than 20,000 people could lose access to Medicaid. Nationally, an estimated 17 million people will lose access to their health care to fund tax breaks for billionaires.

Donald Trump’s disastrous legislation is already being featured in television and digital ads nationwide from groups like Unrig Our Economy, Climate Power, LCV, and Protect Our Jobs, and Majority Forward in states including Alaska, North Carolina, Maine, and Iowa.
