ICYMI: Shady Sheehy’s Lies Pile Up – Poverty Claim Debunked by His Own Book
Yesterday, Tim Sheehy was caught lying to Montana voters once again. This time, he claimed he lived “below the poverty line” while building Bridger Aerospace in 2014—a lie contradicted by his own book, Mudslingers. In his memoir, Sheehy stated that he and his family “had roughly $400,000 to allocate toward building a business and establishing a new life,” placing him 20 times above the 2014 poverty line in Montana, which was $19,790.
The article also adds that Sheehy received an additional $500,000 from his parents to buy planes for Bridger Aerospace.
This is just the latest in Sheehy’s long list of lies: lying about parachuting into Glacier Park, faking a bullet wound, plagiarizing content in Mudslingers, and lying about his rural upbringing.
“This is exactly the kind of dishonesty Montanans have come to expect from Shady Tim Sheehy,” said SMP spokesperson Von Walker. “If elected, Montanans wouldn’t be able to trust a thing Sheehy says or does except to look out for himself.”
