MSNBC: As The Olympics Kick Off, Republicans Go For “Bad Idea” Gold in New SMP Ads
To celebrate the start of the Olympics today, Senate Majority PAC launched eight new ads featuring Republican Senate candidates winning the “gold” for their extreme agendas and shady pasts.
Winners include Dave McCormick “wrestling” jobs away from Pennsylvanians and outsourcing jobs to China and Tim Sheehy “fencing” off public lands for private use.
The six-figure digital ad series will target Olympics-watchers on Peacock in seven states – Arizona, Nevada, Pennsylvania, Montana, Ohio, Michigan, and Wisconsin. A social media version of the ad singling out Larry Hogan as perfectly “synchronized” with MAGA Republicans will reach Maryland voters.
“This summer’s Olympics will feature the best of the best winning the gold. We believe the Republicans running for Senate also deserve recognition for being the most out-of-touch with voters in their attempt to push extremist policies,” said SMP spokesperson Hannah Menchhoff. “In the race to the bottom, these candidates are excelling.”
