New Ad: Chris Pappas is Working for Granite Staters While John Sununu Works for Trump

WinSenate released a television and digital ad today focused on John Sununu’s support for policies raising Granite Staters’ health care costs, contrasting that failing record to Chris Pappas’s record of fighting against the corporate interests increasing prescription drug prices.

When Sununu first served in Congress nearly 30 years ago, he voted against legislation to lower prescription prices and for legislation to cut Medicare, a program currently providing more than 357,000 Granite Staters with critical health care.

Meanwhile, Pappas has fought extensively to expand health care access for Granite Staters, pushing forward legislation to cap prescription drug costsand extend ACA subsidies to lower health insurance premiums.

“In the Senate, [John Sununu] voted to cut Medicare and block lower drug prices, and like Trump, Sununu even invested $100,000 in the companies that benefited from his votes,” the narrator says in the 30-second ad. “Fight back with Chris Pappas; he’s taking on Big Pharma and health insurance companies to lower drug costs and our premiums. Chris Pappas is for you, not Trump.”

The $2.2 million ad campaign will run on television stations across New Hampshire, in addition to digital platforms.
