New Ad: “In My House” Hits Mike Rogers for Cashing in on Special Interests

Today, WinSenate launched an ad campaign in Michigan hitting Mike Rogers for cashing in on his ties to price-gouging corporations while Michigan families struggle with rising gas, grocery, and utility prices.

Rogers has been supported by hundreds of thousands in donations from the pharmaceutical industry over the course of his political career. Now as Michiganders struggle to make ends meet, with gas prices going up a $1.71 since this time last year and rural Michiganders paying anywhere from $950 to more than $1,700 for heating fuel this winter, Rogers is trying to make his way to the Senate so he can keep cashing in.

“Do we really want to send a guy like Mike Rogers, who’s made millions helping the special interests, to the U.S. Senate,” Sheryl says in the ad. “Rogers is in lock step with Donald Trump, and he’s totally in bed with Big Pharma…that’s exactly how he got rich. He cashed in on the system and he’ll do it again.”

The ad will air on television stations across Michigan, as well as digital and streaming.
