New Ad: WinSenate Targets Mike Rogers For Cheering Trump's Iran War And Tariffs While Michigan Pays The Price

Today, WinSenate dropped a new ad hammering Mike Rogers for being in lockstep with Donald Trump, while Michiganders foot the bill at the pump and the checkout line.

Rogers has cheered every step of Trump’s agenda. On Trump’s war in Iran, he said “we are doing exceptionally well.” On Trump’s economy, he bragged “gas prices are down, egg prices are down,” and said “I think the president’s policies are working.” Michigan families are living a different reality. Gas in Michigan just hit $4.93 a gallon, its highest level since July 2022 and $1.75 more than a year ago. Trump’s tariffs have cost Michigan more than $26 billion since January 2025. Now, with the election weeks away, Rogers is suddenly saying the war “needs to end, and end quickly.”

“Ask Mike Rogers anything; you already know his answer. He’s right in lockstep with Donald Trump every time,” the narrator says in the 30-second ad. “Everything Trump’s done, Rogers has cheered for all of it… Mike Rogers doesn’t have the guts to put Michigan before Trump.”

The campaign will air on television stations statewide.
