Washington, D.C. — Today, Senate Majority PAC (SMP) announced that it has raised over $48.8 million in the second quarter of 2022, including a massive $29 million haul during the month of June alone — its largest monthly total for the midterm cycle so far and over double the amount raised in May. The fundraising figures were first reported by FOX News.

In a sign of strong grassroots support and enthusiasm heading into November, SMP received 47,600 donations between April and June from contributors who gave $100 or less, with the average online contribution amounting to $34.

“Senate Majority PAC has the wind at our back as we head into November, and this quarter’s $48 million boost gives us the resources and momentum we need to flood the zone and keep the GOP on its heels,” said JB Poersch, President of Senate Majority PAC. “Meanwhile, Mitch McConnell and his right-wing allies are shelling out unprecedented sums to throw a lifeline to a clown car of flawed Republican candidates who are deeply out of step with the American people and are being massively outraised by Democrats.”
