Senate Majority PAC Out-Raises Senate Leadership Fund in 2023

SMP Raises Record-Breaking $46 Million in Latest Reporting Period 

Today, Senate Majority PAC announced it raised $46 million in the latter half of 2023. This sum far exceeds the $36 million that Senate Majority PAC raised in the corresponding period of the 2022 cycle.

In all, Senate Majority PAC raised $83.5 million in 2023, the most SMP has ever raised in an off-year, and more than SLF raised in the same period.

SMP will also report a record-breaking $61.5 million cash on hand, far exceeding that of SLF’s and further demonstrating the tremendous amount of energy propelling Democrats ahead of this critical election.

This news comes after Senate Majority PAC placed its initial ad reservations for the cycle in Montana and Nevada.

“Kicking off election year 2024, Senate Majority PAC is breaking fundraising records thanks to real energy and organization behind our effort to hold the Senate,” said Senate Majority PAC President JB Poersch. “But this is about more than breaking records, these resources will help hold MAGA Republicans accountable for their corrupt pasts and dangerous support for abortion bans and efforts to repeal the Affordable Care Act. Voters have the right to know who McConnell’s lackeys really are, and we’re going to show them.”
