Senate Majority PAC Statement on Abdul El-Sayed Winning the Michigan Senate Race

“Abdul El-Sayed has dedicated his career to making health care more affordable, lowering costs for working families, and standing up to the powerful interests that have made life harder for Michiganders.

“Mike Rogers spent his career cashing in on his Washington connections while Michigan families paid the price. After years of siding with corporate interests and supporting policies that put billionaires ahead of working people, Rogers offered Michiganders more of the same: another politician who would put Donald Trump and his wealthy donors first.

“Tonight, Michigan voters rejected a career Washington insider and elected a senator who will fight for them. Abdul El-Sayed will put Michigan families ahead of corporate profits and political insiders.”
