SMP Launches New Ad Featuring Arizona Veteran Calling Out False Attacks on Senator Mark Kelly
New spot sets the record straight on Sen. Kelly’s record, highlights his work to deliver for AZ
Washington, D.C. – Today, Senate Majority PAC (SMP) is launching a new ad calling out false attacks on Senator Mark Kelly and highlighting his record of delivering for Arizona.
In the new spot, George—a U.S. Army Special Forces veteran from Tucson—sets the record straight on Senator Kelly’s record and calls the false attack ads on him a “disgrace.”
“It’s unfortunate that National Republicans are desperately resorting to false attacks against Senator Mark Kelly, but they can’t distort his proven record of delivering for Arizona families and small businesses,” said JB Poersch, President of Senate Majority PAC. “Hardworking Arizonans like George know the truth: Senator Kelly is taking action to lower costs, cut taxes, and find common ground with both Democrats and Republicans to get things done.”
The ad, titled “Matters,” is the first spot from SMP that will run as part of a multi-million dollar summer ad blitz. The seven-figure ad campaign will reach voters statewide beginning Sunday.
“Matters” Ad Transcript:
“I served 23 years in Special Forces.
I know Mark Kelly was in the Navy—and I can forgive him for that.
All these lies about Kelly… they’re a disgrace.
Mark doesn’t get caught up in political nonsense.
He’ll listen to anyone to find solutions.
He’s fought to cut our taxes.
And, he’s working with Democrats and Republicans to bring manufacturing jobs back to America.
That may not make headlines, but it’s getting the job done.
To me, that’s what matters.”
