SMP Outraises SLF Once Again with Record-Breaking Q1 Haul

SMP’s Has Largest First Quarter In An Election Year Ever With $39.3 Million Raised

Today, Senate Majority PAC announced it raised $39.3 million in the first quarter of 2024, a haul that far surpasses the ‘record-breaking’ $24.4 million raised by McConnell’s Senate Leadership Fund. SMP will also report having $92 million cash on hand heading into the spring, compared to SLF’s $59.5 million.

SMP outpaced SLF throughout 2023, and has used this strong fundraising to place $239 million in ad reservations targeting key states across the country. In fact, SMP has already begun holding out-of-touch, out-of-state GOP politicians accountable on TV and digital.

“SMP continues to break records with our fundraising because Democrats are focused and motivated on holding the Senate,” said Senate Majority PAC President JB Poersch. “As out-of-touch, carpetbagging GOP candidates try and use their shady wealth to buy Senate seats across the map, these resources have never been more important. In the coming months, SMP is ready to hold these extremists accountable for their agenda to ban abortion, raise prescription drug costs, and take away voters’ access to health care.”
