SMP Posts Best Third Quarter in Its History, Ends With Record Cash on Hand

Senate Majority PAC and its affiliated organizations raised $202 million in the third quarter of 2026, the best third quarter in SMP’s history.

SMP will report raising $151 million and closed the quarter with $111.8 million cash on hand – both record-breaking sums for Senate Majority PAC in the third quarter.

The record comes as Democrats lead in every Senate battleground and have expanded the map, putting Republicans on defense in states they thought were safe. Bolstered by a strong recruitment effort from Senate Minority Leader Charles E. Schumer, Democrats have an impressive slate of candidates who are offering real solutions for families suffering under the Trump economy.

“This is the strongest third quarter SMP has ever had, and it comes at the moment it matters most,” said SMP spokesperson Lauren French. “We have reservations across the battleground for the final four weeks, and every dollar of it is aimed at defeating price-gouging Republicans and winning a Senate majority.”

Senate Majority PAC and affiliated organizations also had their best-ever second quarter, raising $147 million when it reported in July.
