SMP Statement on Larry Hogan’s Senate Campaign

Today, Larry Hogan launched a Senate bid in a state that re-elected Democrat Sen. Van Hollen with 65% of the vote in 2022. In response, Senate Majority PAC President JB Poersch released the following statement:

“It’s pretty simple – Larry Hogan’s Senate bid is nothing but a vanity project and a desperate attempt to cling to political relevancy. Maryland voters have repeatedly made clear they have no interest in electing a McConnell recruit who wants to ban abortion, rip away their health care and give tax handouts to corporate interests. Marylanders won’t support another Republican politician who blindly follows Mitch McConnell at every turn and puts the voters’ interests last.”
