SMP Statement on Senator Jacky Rosen’s Victory in Nevada

Senate Majority PAC President JB Poersch released the following statement to congratulate Senator Jacky Rosen on her victory in Nevada’s U.S. Senate race:

“Nevada’s voters have spoken, and they’ve chosen to return Senator Rosen to the Senate to continue her work for the state. In her time representing Nevada, Senator Rosen has delivered results, protecting health care access, and lowering everyday costs.

“Her opponent, by contrast, pushed an extreme right-wing agenda that would hurt Nevadan families. He aimed to cut Medicare and Social Security, support a ban on abortion, and repeal the ACA. His policies clearly diverged from Nevadan values.

“SMP takes pride in the role we played in securing Senator Rosen’s victory. Our investments highlighted her pro-choice stance, unwavering support for Nevada families, and her opponent’s extremism. Senator Rosen’s win rejects Mitch McConnell and national Republicans’ extremist agenda they sought to impose on Nevadans and confirms that they want an effective, bipartisan leader representing their interests.”
