SMP Statement on Senator Sherrod Brown Entering the U.S. Senate Race in Ohio

Senate Majority PAC Spokesperson Lauren French released the following statement after Senator Sherrod Brown announced his campaign for the U.S. Senate:

“In the U.S. Senate, Sherrod Brown stood against special interest groups and put Ohioans first — capping the cost of insulin at $35 for seniors, expanding health care access, and opposing tax breaks for corporations. He is exactly the type of fighter Ohioans need at a time when families are struggling with the higher prices and cuts to critical health care programs championed by Senate Republicans and Jon Husted.”
